Ashley Babjack

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Masters in Counseling from University of Colorado Denver. Before joining Caring Heart Counseling, she spent several years working with diverse children, teens and families experiencing complex trauma at a local community mental health center.

Ashley enjoys working with clients from all stages of life: children 8 years of age and older, teenagers, families, individual adults, and couples. She uses a person-centered, authentic approach to help clients feel empowered and aware of their own personal power that help them overcome challenges.

Ashley uses a combination of approaches to help her clients become their best selves including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Somatic Processing, and Attachment Theory. She believes that the foundation of growth depends on clients having a healthy relationship with themselves and that allows them to make changes in other areas of their lives.

Ashley enjoys working with clients experiencing issues with anxiety, depression, gender identity, sexuality, adoption issues, complex trauma, life transitions, adult children of parents with personality disorders, relationship and attachment issues, and self-esteem. Ashley is an ally to the GLBTQ+ community and is honored to provide a safe and accepting space for this community during the therapeutic process.

Ashley enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, crocheting cat toys, and her favorite emoji is the cartwheel.
